Alliant Insurance Services has continued its hiring spree with the appointment of Al Rubosky as a vice president within its employee benefits group.

Rubosky will be based in Cleveland and serve a national client base, focusing on program strategy, plan design and risk management, Alliant said in a news release.

“Through his broad skill set and depth of relationships, Al has the ability to drive positive outcomes for employers, helping them reduce spending and attract and retain top talent,” said Kevin Overbey, president of Alliant Employee Benefits. “His ability to meld leading-edge benefits strategies with sound risk management practices will serve as a tremendous asset to our team in the Midwest and nationwide.”

Rubosky has more than two decades of experience in benefits consulting, healthcare, client service and business development. He brings to his new role expertise in subjects including healthcare funding, employee communication, compliance, executive benefits, non-traditional benefits and risk management. Prior to joining Alliant, Rubosky served as a benefits consultant at a national insurance brokerage and employee benefits consulting firm.

“We’re excited to continue to add exceptional talent to our team and bolster our presence in the thriving Ohio market,” said Mike Malouf, executive vice president at Alliant Employee Benefits. “In the last six months, we’ve successfully welcomed eight experienced employee benefits consultants in Cleveland, Columbus and Cincinnati. The ever-expanding horizon of new clients fuels our commitment to growth in Ohio.”

Alliant is expanding its roster across the nation.
